Is a hot air fryer suitable for a keto or low carb diet?


Absolutely. An air fryer is a popular and convenient kitchen appliance that allows you to prepare many different keto air fryer recipes. I’ve been using my deep fryer almost every day since I bought it, and I so enjoy cooking with it!

Air frying is super convenient, fast and EASY! In fact, the Power Air Fryer XL is my favorite kitchen appliance right now. It has definitely taken its place on my kitchen table because I use it so often. In fact, it’s so easy to use that my middle-aged kids can make bacon with it every day and we all know it: BACON IS LIFE!

Only 30 minutes and 2 ingredients for fantastically delicious crispy chicken wings in the hot air fryer! This is a perfect keto snack or dish that is very easy to make. The texture and taste are perfect – super crunchy and delicious! See the instructions in this post.

2. Make perfect hard-boiled eggs every time!

I love that you don’t have to boil water for this safe method of cooking hard-boiled eggs. Place the eggs in the fryer basket and set the timer for 16 minutes at 260 degrees. Let the eggs cool for a minute, then remove the shells under running water! It’s so simple!

3. Prepare breaded, crispy keto snacks in a hot air fryer.

The airfryer lets you make those crispy breaded snacks that are also keto! For example, I made these super simple, crunchy pickles by breadcrumbing them with grated Parmesan cheese and shredded pork skins! You can find a full list of destinations HERE.

Crispy asparagus fries with parmesan cheese can also be made in the hot air fryer! Using these ingredients, arrange the stalks in a single layer and set the fryer at 400 degrees for 7 minutes to cook.

4. Cabbage chips have never been so quick and crispy.

Crispy kale chips in less than 10 minutes? Yes, please. If you like kale chips, the fryer makes fantastic kale chips! Go HERE for details and easy instructions.

5. Quick keto snacks in the hot air fryer!

A simple and savory snack idea is to deep fry mozzarella sticks wrapped in salami. Cut the cheese sticks into three pieces. Wrap around each a piece of salami and secure with a toothpick. Place them in a hot fryer and fry at 360 degrees for 6 minutes.

6. The meat is tasty and juicy.

The airfryer can make much more than delicious fries and snacks. We recently made great burgers in an airfryer. Medium patties can be baked at 350 degrees for about 9-10 minutes or until desired doneness.

7. Make the best keto fries to go with your burger.

Did you know that sweet potatoes are a great alternative to potatoes for making keto fries? These jicama fries can go in the hot air fryer at 400 degrees for 20 minutes and you have the most delicious keto fries.

8. The Keto fair vegetable is fantastically crunchy.

I made Brussels sprouts, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside in just 10 minutes! They taste great and are very easy to make.

Coat the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, season to taste, then fry for 10 minutes in a hot fryer at 400 degrees. Stop halfway through cooking and shake the basket to turn the sprouts.

End of thigh : I also love the results of air roasted asparagus, cauliflower florets and green beans if you use the same method as above for Brussels sprouts!

You can buy ready-made jalapeño poppers in the meat department of your local store or make them yourself with this easy recipe! A low-carb snack idea that always strikes a chord with the public.

10. Bacon baking without damage like BOSS.

Cooking time depends on the thickness of the bacon, but I was able to cook this traditional crispy bacon in just 8 minutes at 390 degrees (thicker bacon may need 10-11 minutes or even longer if you want it extra crispy). The best part is that the grease drains into the bottom basket, making it easy to clean!

I will never bake bacon in the oven or on the stove again. This method is great!

11. Leftovers never tasted so good.

Seriously, you will never eat leftover pie again! The next day, I reheated the leftovers from this keto pizza quiche recipe in just a few minutes and they were perfectly crispy again!

Leftover steak is often difficult to reheat because it gets hard in the microwave and dry on the stove. Now I always use my fryer to reheat my steak because it comes out juicy and I love the texture!
